CEF Calendar of Activities 2013

April 22, 2013 – Cravings celebrated Earth Day 2013, Earth Room, CCA Bldg. CEF, Inc. Prepared the green roof for open to everyone for free demonstration and trainings.

April 20, 2013 – Launching of the First day of Cook For Life Scholarship Program, CCA – Farmers, Cubao, Quezon City.

April 13, 2013 – Through the initiative of Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Soveneas Class 2003 of Mariveles, Bataan, they partnered with the Parish Priest of Barangay Bangkal & CEF, Inc. as the trainers for the Livelihood skills trainings; soap making, pet bottle broom making & gardening to Aeta community of Barangay Bangkal, Abucay, Bataan.

April 12, 2013 – Cook For Life Scholarship Program  Orientation, Tarragon CCA Bldg., CEF, Inc., invited the first batch of  scholars for an orientation before they start  their first day of classes.



March 18, 2013 – DENR Earth Day Assembly, DENR –EMB Division, Quezon City. DENR Earth Day Philippines gather all civic groups, government agencies and individuals for the First assembly of 2013 in preparation for the Earth Day 2013 celebration.



March 14, 2013 – DENR – Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Chief, Mrs. Elenita Basug invited the founder & President of CEF, Inc. Ma’am Annie P. Guerrero as the speaker for their National Greening Program, Strategies. Technologies & Opportunities to Reduce Emission in the Philippines.

February 9, 2013 – CEF, Inc. Manager attended the Green convergence’s invitational talk with Dr. Fabian Dayrit regarding, “the truth about Coconut Oil: Nutrition, Heart Disease & Metabolic Syndrome.



February 7, 2013 – CEF, Inc.’s First Team building initiated by CEF Inc. Manager  held at Earth Room, CCA Bldg. Ms. Tashi Molo-Cravings TQS facilitated the team building and complete attendance from the CEF family.



January 19, 2013 – CEF was invited by Our Lady Of Pentecost Parish (OLPP) in Barangay Loyola Heights as the speaker for their first event for the year 2013 – Kalikasan, Kainan at Kalusugan  for the parishioners. The founder and President of CEF, Ms. Susana P Guerrero, CCP Emeritus talked about her life story being an entrepreneur and environmentalist.  Through Ma’am Annie, the community Dr. Metodio Palaypay, the founder of Zero Waste Philippines shared his experience and advocacy to the audience as well.



January 12-18, 2013 – No impact Week at Asian Development Bank, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.  Through its work in Asia and the Pacific region, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has made environmentally-sustainable development a priority. ADB is the first multilateral development bank to earn both ISO 14,000 and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certifications. At its Manila headquarters, energy consumption has been lowered on a per staff basis thanks to initiatives including solar rooftops, air conditioning chiller replacement, and rainwater harvesting. CEF, Inc. Manager, Roxanne T. Oquendo attended the said event themed, “Eat Local, Eat Less Meat” where they featured the Sustainable Organic Agriculture experience of the Municipal Mayor  Nanciano Pacalioga Jr. of the Municipality of Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
